My name is Leo, I am a 9-year-old boy carrying TRIO gene mutation. Everyone says I am a special child. Why?

First, let me introduce my self.

I am a joyful child, I can understand two languages, I am learning the language of gestures and can communicate with a Talker.

I attend a special school and my week is also full with therapies, such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy.

It all seems like a big game to me and so I carry out my tasks with enthusiasm.

I am surrounded by outstanding therapists and teachers who love me and teach me many things.

I love animals and I enjoy when they are with me during therapy. I get a lot of help from them.

Why do people say I'm special? Well, because I can bring a smile to the face of everyone I meet.

Indeed, I'm trying to teach those around me that it's easy to be happy in life.
